A faster path to manifesting what you want.

If you haven’t noticed already, the “choice” thing is something I cover quite a bit. 

It’s not just because I wrote a book about it. And It’s not just because I like talking about the same thing over and over again. 

I talk, coach and teach about the power of choice—because it’s the #1 thing that can transform your life with the least amount of effort, struggle or frustration.

Once you learn what exactly to do with the power of choice—manifesting what you want gets a whole lot easier and more enjoyable. 

And the super quickie manifesting 101 lesson is this—manifesting is nothing more than matching your energy (thoughts and feelings) to what you want.

It’s having healthy feelings about money, wealth and prosperity—if you want more prosperity.

It’s about having good feelings and thoughts about your body—if you want a healthy body. 

Getting what you want (manifesting) is nothing more than CHOOSING WHAT TO THINK AND FEEL  and holding that consistently and truthfully. 

Let me ask you a couple questions . . . 

When was the last time someone forced you to feel a certain way?

When was the last time someone forced you to think a certain thought? 

The answer is never!

We may think someone makes us feel and think a certain way—but the 100% truth (and yes, sometimes the truth hurts a little) is that WE are the ones responsible for what we think and how we feel. 

And what we think and feel are choices—that are either moving us closer to more travel, a rockin’ healthy body and our soulmate finding us. Or not. 

So this awareness will either make you 1. Giddy, excited, thrilled to know you have a certain degree of control (although I don’t like that word)  over certain things in your life or 2. Freaked out to know that you have a certain degree of control over how things go in your life. 

When this idea truly sinks in for people and when they truly grasp how much power they have when they become accountable to what they think and how they feel—this is when things get fun. 

It’s when doors open, magic happens and lives are transformed. 

And thats not to say there won’t be ANY uncomfortableness along your path to creating your dreams, desires and goals.  But the whole “no pain, no gain” thing—is not required when you want to shift something in your life.

Sometimes when we are learning to THINK AND FEEL differently about money, health, work (any topic really) —we need to put a bit more effort into replacing beliefs and feelings that DON’T SERVE WHAT WE WANT and replace them with thoughts and feelings that do. 

Simple? YES. Easy? Not always. 

But what I tell my clients who are really determined and ready for a big change is this—

  • you won’t get there unless you’re clear about what you want
  • you won’t get there if you’re wishy-washy with your energy
  • you won’t get there by focusing on what you DON’T want (the key to manifesting is to put the primary focus on what’s wanted, not what’s missing)
  • you definitely won’t get there by staying stuck in your old story about your life, your problems and your “lack of”  (whether is be money, love, health, happiness) In other words, it may be 100% true, real and painful for you to recall and talk about your past and how it impacts your ability to be positive—but that is a story that you are choosing to repeat. The question  is . . . how is it serving you in getting what you want in life? 

If you simply remember and practice these key points—you’ll have the ability to change almost anything you want. 

You can attract more peace with your energy. 

You can attract more love with your energy. 

You can attract more health, wealth and happiness with your energy. 

And yep . . . it’s absolutely your choice.

God (Spirit, Source) never leaves you . . .

My blog—among many other things—is a spiritual blog. 

 It is a blog about living life awake, aware and happy. And about choosing what we love—what lights us up inside. 

And even the word spiritual is so watered down that it doesn’t even come close to what I want to convey.

It isn’t a blog about pushing and struggling to find ones purpose. It is about just being true to you.

About being happy. About enjoying life. It’s about setting all the shoulds, woulds and coulds aside—that have kept so many of us prisoners in our own lives—and getting quiet and really listening to your soul. 

And about knowing that we are never alone—that we always have support from that energy—call it God, Source energy, Guides, Angels, or Peter Pan.

We are not without guidance at each and every moment. 

And the clincher to that is—if we don’t believe it, it probably won’t seem like a truth to us. 

And if we do believe it and have 100% faith that it is true—miracles start to happen.

Then they happen again and again. 

And then miracle become commonplace (but not commonly ordinary or boring of course).

They become reminders of our power, our connection and of our inherent birthright to be loved. 

You are loved at all times—even though it may not seem that way. 

You are protected at all times—even though you have felt abandoned. 

You are never alone and you are never without support. 

Today and every day—let’s choose to enjoy life. To be grateful for any small thing that we can find and then just make that our focus.

And little by little, when you become aware of the power and gift you have in a simple choice to know that there is an energy that ALWAYS has your back—as the saying goes—the world is your oyster.

Your energy is the secret sauce . . .

I am all about energy.  You are all about energy (whether you believe it or not). Life is all about energy. 


After years of trying to figure out how to manifest what I wanted (and boatloads of failures) what I realized is that I was trying to pretend my way into things, rather than actually feeling my way into them—authentically.  And then there were other times, that I just wasn’t being conscious at all about how I was feeling. I just sort of  letting my feelings run the show.

In other words,  I was pretending to feel happy, successful, forgiving or joyful—when I really felt shitty, blameful, sad and annoyed.

Crap, that’s no fun.

I wasn’t fooling myself and I definitely wasn’t fooling the universe.

The world of manifesting (the idea that we attract back what we primarily give out) is a world of energy.

And you can’t trick the universe into believing that you are feeling something you aren’t. It doesn’t work that way.

The way it works is that you must first identify HOW IT IS THAT YOU WANT TO FEEL.

That is the starting point.

Most people stumble through life not really giving too much conscious thought to how it is they truly want to feel. We may think we do,  but how many of us truly create a life based on a conscious awareness of how we want to feel minute to minute?

I am guessing that most people don’t give it much thought. Most of the time, we are actually just on autopilot with our feelings and are run by them, rather than being a conscious co creator with them.

Our feelings are the guide to our energy.

So, first you gotta—

  • IDENTIFY HOW IT IS THAT YOU WANT TO FEEL

And once you understand how you want to feel, it’s time to—

  • SORT OUT THE HOW-TO OF IT ALL

How do we work with our feelings (that sometimes feel so automatic and out of our ability to influence) when annoying shit is really happening?

I mean, how are we supposed to FEEL AMAZING, when there are so many things out there that seem to be working towards making us feel NOT AMAZING?

You gotta make a choice.

YOU MUST CHOOSE to stay committed to how you want to feel (beautiful, connected, loved, sensual, happy) in the face of life’s little mishaps and misfortunes.

This doesn’t mean you don’t acknowledge feeling annoyed by the justifiably annoying. It doesn’t mean ignoring the truth of how you feel.

It means saying “hey, I am annoyed, irritated, angry, etc…..and I know that staying in this state is NOT an energy I want to give out (or attract back to me) so I am going to acknowledge the truth of how I feel and let it go, because it’s not how I really want to feel.”

Bam. Done.

Then you go back to identifying HOW YOU WANT TO FEEL and create an arsenal of things you can do to get you right back into those desired feelings ASAP.

Maybe you can do some of these things to get back to your desired feelings—laugh, read a book  you love, smile more, take a shower, go for a walk, sit under a tree, sing, dance, have a cup of your favorite tea, calla friend, breath more deeply, do some yoga, play with your dog, hug your kids, dream, light a candle, take a bath, eat some chocolate, scream in a pillow, cry, kiss, buy some flowers, remember something that makes you smile and laugh.

Create your own quick-list of things that you can do—lickety-split—to get out of a funk and back towards fantastic . . . or just a bit better even.

Your energy is amazing. It’s powerful and it’s a choice. Your energy is amazing because it’s the secret sauce of your life. Your energy is amazing because it directs the flow of your life. That flow can be a good one, or it can be turbulent. But it’s all a choice.

Choose to feel, think and be the sort of person that you enjoy being around.  And then watch the miracles start to unfold.

Are you hiding from your true power?

This will be short and sweet today.  I write about things that I am personally experiencing in my life—or that are of particular interest to me.Personal-Power-reach

And it’s confession time—sometimes I hide from my true power. In fact, most of us do. Most of us don’t even know what our true power is, how to find it…. or if we even want it.

How do you know if you are hiding from your true power?

  • You feel empty
  • You feel restless
  • You feel like someting is missing
  • You feel disconnected
  • You are reactive and argumentative
  • You have low energy
  • You often feel “tested” by life
  • The same patterns and issues keep resurfacing
  • You have moments of clarity and lucidity, but you brush them off and don’t pay attention to the signs and signals the universe is giving you
  • You just know. You can feel that you are meant to step into your next “level” but don’t know how, why and have some fear about changing.

And then what? What do we do when we know we are hiding from our true power? How do we discover it? Turn it on?

We turn it on by . . . .

  • Being aware that we are disconnected from it in the first place
  • Ditching excuses and being accountable
  • Asking your higher power, God, source energy (whatever your version of  it is) for help in connecting with your true power
  • Tuning into and strengthening your intuition (meditation, nature, exercising…whatever raises your vibration)
  • Engaging in things that make you feel good (raising your vibration)
  • Going beyond our comfort zone and being willing to be uncomfortable at times (spiritual growth, being the best you can be, being happy and evolving aren’t always about fairy kisses, unicorns and rainbows….in other words—sometimes it’s hard!)

And once you tap into your true, conscious personal power, you will feel . . .

  • Confident
  • Abundant
  • Free
  • Excited
  • Happy
  • Powerful
  • Passionate
  • Vibrant
  • Creative
  • At peace

What’s not to like about that?  Hiding from your power is a choice and just as you can choose to hide, you can choose to discover and allow it.

Now that we are in another mercury retrograde,  I think now is the perfect time to ditch the old patterns and choose your power. Your power that lights you up, puts a skip in your step and makes things happen.
