Turn Your Browsers Into Believers . . .

Turn Your Browsers Into Believers . . .

For all you biz owners out there who blog on a regular basis—how are you feeling about it?quotes-1522

Bored? Like no one is listening? Like you are writing your blog posts for yourself, or that it just isn’t lighting your fire anymore?

How about those of you who are browsers of blogs—what keeps you going back? What keeps you away? What keeps you interested or enthralled?

How do we, as online entrepreneurs and coaches—turn browsers into believers and/or buyers?

Here are 6 tips to keep your blog posts interesting and producing results (because there is little point in doing it if we aren’t getting the results we desire).

  • Choose a topic or subject that you are genuinely interested in and know well. You can’t keep yourself or others interested and coming back to your blog if you aren’t 100% confident in your topic. You are the expert, you are the content creator, so make it matter. Even if it’s a topic that isn’t totally related to your expertise, make sure you have done your research on it before you write about it or review it.
  • Choose a unique way to present it! Instead of just creating a blog post, maybe do a weekly vlog to mix it up. Many successful online entrepreneurs have moved to a combination of blogging and vlogging. Be unique and true to you!  This isn’t about copying others out there. It’s about finding your unique way to present it.  Use a combination of inspiration and information.
  • Create a clear plan and vision for your blog/vlog. Create a regular schedule, and then do your best to stick with it.
  • Analyze your content and see what’s creating a buzz and what’s not.  What blog posts are getting more comments and responses? Consider creating similar or related content for your more popular posts.
  • Ask!  Ask you subscribers what they like and don’t like. What’s useful and whats not so useful? You can use something like survey monkey to create a quick survey and send it out to your list.
  • Don’t become a slave to it. The purpose of having a blog is to engage, educate and inspire your audience. If you aren’t accomplishing those things—switch it up. There is no point in doing the same thing over and over again if it’s not getting you closer to what you want and making you feel good. There is no point in spending time creating blog posts each week if it feeels like a drain. Use your imagination. Get creative with it!

Creating useful, interesting, juicy content is the thing that will turn our browsers into believers…and then potential buyers.  But in this land of information overload, you have to find a way to deliver content that is practical and purposeful. Blogs and vlogs are how we connect with our peeps. It’s how we build trust and showcase our expertise.

If we aren’t into it, our readers aren’t gonna feel it either.

If you aren’t offering a little more than just information—then your readers (or watchers) will get bored….and so will you.

What does this have to do with choosing wiser and living larger?

If we want success, happiness, health, growth—all those good things—then we need to infuse passion and our authenticity into every aspect of our lives. That includes our business, our products, our blog posts . . . all of it!  And for the blog/vlog readers—it’s important for you to spend your time reading and watching things that really do it for you! No more wasting time on things that don’t truly serve us.

An amazing life and business is really just a choice away. Learning how to really listen to who we are, what we desire and then going for it, is the key to living a powerful, passion filled life. It’s the key to manifesting a life of health, prosperity and happiness.

A Bientôt!

Make More. Play More. Work Less.

Make More. Play More. Work Less.

Yes please, I will take that! How about you?playmore0aworkless0amakemore-default

Are you on board to make more (money, happiness + dreams come true), play more and work less?

Who wouldn’t want this? Isn’t this the ultimate definition of success?

And the honest to goodness truth, for me, is that I LOVE my work so much, that it feels like play to me. I found a way to turn my work into something I love and enjoy rather than a “have to,” a bummer or a disconnect from my bigger truth.

It didn’t used to be this way though. . .

I felt I had to sacrifice, struggle and do things that didn’t really turn me on in order to make it.

And I was miserable, disconnected, bored and dead inside. Can you relate?

How can we turn our work into something that feeds us, lights us up and excites us? How can we work less (or love what we do), play more and make more?

Here are some of the basic steps we need to take to get on this path:

  • Take some quiet time to get super clear about how you feel about your current relationship to your work. Do you enjoy it? Is it full fullfiling? Are you happy doing what you do?
  • If money all of a sudden wasn’t an issue in your life, would you continue doing this work, at least on some level? Is this sort of work interesting and enjoyable to you?
  • Sit with your answer. If it’s a definite “no,” and you are not happy with your work, couldn’t care less about continuing to do it, then it’s time to consider a change . . . either in how you perceive it, or changing your work altogether. I AM NOT ENCOURAGING YOU TO RUN OUT AND QUIT YOUR JOB TODAY!  I am, however, encouraging you to honestly examine this part of your life. We spend so much time at work (most of us) so it’s critical to like what you do or change it if you don’t.
  • What do you love? Write a list. What are possible careers or work that you would LOVE to do? Make a list of these things, and start to research the possibility of  maybe slowly moving in this direction. Could you start this work part time and keep your regular job? Say this career that you would love to do is music. How about taking music classes or finding other local musicians to collaborate with? Maybe that little bit of shift and adding a bit more of what you love into your life would actually shift how you feel about your main job.
  • Start to play more! Just add silliness, lightheartedness and fun into your life. Be a kid again. Find your innocence through play. Create a list of what those things are for you and commit to doing them a few times a week.
  • MONEY! In order to make more, play more and work less, we have to see it, dream it and know it before we actually start to see the physical evidence of it in our lives. Make a commitment to following the basics of manifesting (see this link) and start to shift your belief system about what is actually possible. We have to shift our beliefs and feelings about a certain thing in order to shift the thing.

The main thing to remember when we desire to shift anything in our lives—our money situation, our health, our feelings about success and happiness—is to affirm it first. We need to make a conscious CHOICE to oursleves and the universe that we are committed to working less (or changing how we feel about our work), playing more and making more.

State it out loud, on paper and on a reagular basis. Choose to put that vibration out into the world. Words hold energy and power, so start choosing the words, feelings and thoughts that support what you want rather than what you don’t want.

Start each day saying— “I choose happiness today. I choose thoughts of abundance today. I choose patience today. I choose love today. I choose to be organized and efficient today.”   Do this on a consistent basis, let go of attachment to results and you are on your way to manifesting your desires!

It is that simple, if you choose it to be!

How are you committing to a more playful, abundant life? What small action steps are you taking right now to get on track with your desires? Leave a comment and let me know!

In love, gratitude and playfulness!

Does Feng Shui really work?

If you don’t know already,—

Feng Shui  is an ancient art and science developed over 3,000 years ago in China.

fengshui

It is a complex body of knowledge that reveals how to balance the energies of any given space to assure health and good fortune (success+ wealth) for people using it.

I happen to love feng shui and have incorporated the basic principles in my home and office.

I have to say, it works! Or, at least I think it does. It certainly does FEEL GOOD to me.

But how do we know if manifesting works? If feng shui works? If meditation works?

There really isn’t much of it that we can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Yes, there is science behind some of it, but science isn’t fail proof either.

How do we know for sure if it works then?

We know because we know.

What I mean by this, is that if we are getting the results we want and if doing a certain thing makes us FEEL a certain way, then that’s our indicator.

If chanting to attract wealth, putting a bowl of lemons in your kitchen to attract health, or meditating to manifest your desires feels good to you and is getting you the results your desire—then it works!

How we feel + our results should be enough to tell us if something is working for us, or not.

I know the idea of just feeling good no matter what may go against the grain of the “no pain, no gain” mentality, but it’s the direction we  need to go—if we want to be our best version of happy, successful, healthy + wealthy.

But why do it if we can’t prove it?

Again, we do it because it feels good—plain and simple.

We do it if we feel in alignment with it and it gives us an energy of hope, guidance, support and pleasure.

Feeling good is the key to being a manifesting ninja.

Feeling good just feels good and it also raises our vibration and helps us to attract more good feeling things (so the theory goes)

And, let’s just say to be the devils advocate, that it(meditation, yoga, prayer, feng shui) doesn’t really work. Maybe it’s all a giant placebo effect—we believe something works, therefore it works.

So do we really care if science can or can’t prove something? I don’t!  Isn’t it enough that you feel better when you do it?

I say yes!

Maybe if feng shui just resonates with us and we feel good about it— it’s the belief that makes it work. It’s our thoughts that make it work, rather than just the arrangement of our furniture or a bowl of lemons in our kitchen to attract health, wealth and happiness.

On the flip side— when we are negative about a particular thing, then most of the time, it doesn’t work out for us. We manifest our primary belifes about it. We get what we think. We get what we feel.

I think this is a good one to ponder and decide for yourself. Do you think it’s the actual thing, or our belief in the thing that makes it real?

Honestly, most things boil down to personal choice. What works fo me, may not work for you.

Our lives are a result of our choices. And our choices primarly make us feel either good, or not so good.

Choose the better feeling things—always.

I will leave you with a few of my favorite feng shui practices. You can choose to see how they feel for you!

  • place 9 live lemons in a bowl in the center of your home, or kitchen for health
  • purple is associate with wealth in feng shui, so place a purple item or purple flowering plants in the left back corner of your home. look at the feng shui quadrant guide above to figure out where this wealth quadrant in located in your home
  • to strengthen love + relationships, place pink anything (flowers, candles, pictures) in the upper right corner of your home. This is the LOVE quadrant
  • for career(and success) place either live fish or a symbol of fish in your career quadrant, which is basically, the front entrance to your home. Again, consult with the diagram above.

These are just a few of my favorites! Let me know if you want more.

Share with others and leave a comment below + share your thoughts.

Enjoy. Choose wisely and manifest away!

Mantras + Meditations for a Stress-Free Holiday

Stress-Free HolidayToday is December 1st, and we all know what that means!!!

The Holiday season is upon us. For some of us, that brings up feelings of joy.  For others, well . . . not so much.

The Holidays can be stressful, so I created a list of things I personally use to make sure it’s a holiday full of good things, not stress and struggle.

Here you go, enjoy and Happy Holidays to you all!

  1. First off, set your intention or theme for the month. Choose your theme from a quiet space. Take 10 minutes to meditate or get grounded and choose the first thing that comes into your mind. Don’t overthink it, just pick something…you can always change it. You can even have your theme/intention be different each week.  Just be conscious about the overall feeling and vibe you want to carry with you throughout the month.
  2. Write down your theme for the month and place it where you can visibly see it. It’s important to create a visual link to your  theme, so it becomes part of your conscious awareness each day. If you are artsy, create a “vision board” that represents your theme for the month. Choose how you want it to look. If you don’t have time for a vision board and if you don’t feel you need to write it down and keep it visible— fine! Just choose to be clear about it and remind yourself of it daily.
  3. Create your holiday schedule. Know what you need to do when, so there are no last minute stressors.  As the saying goes ” fail to plan, plan to fail.” Just approach this month from an organized, relaxed space. You can CHOOSE to do it differently.  You don’t have to say “yes” to every invitation. Say YES to having a joy-filled holiday. If that means creating healthy boundaries, so you’re not running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off, then do it. Choose you this season—it will make the giving and choosing others part of it feel much more genuine.
  4. Start each morning in silent meditation or prayer. This is when we solidify our theme for the month. This is when we bring our theme into our awareness and start our days from a conscious, relaxed, grounded place. My personal morning meditation is a Kundalini yoga mantra that I learned from Gabrielle Bernstein. It’s specfically for prosperity—
  5. Light a candle. If you don’t personally line up with Kundalini yoga, another great way to start your morning is to keep a candle next to your bed and rather than starting the day turning on a light—light a candle instead! I LOVE doing this. Even if I only have 10 minutes, I light my candle, do my meditation for 3-11 minutes and I am on my way.
  6. Another substitution for Kundalini is just your own personal prayer. This is just about connecting with your intention first thing in the day and also connecting to you version or spirit, God, whatever that is for you. Again, keep it simple—create something that works for you. My personal mantra that I created for myself and that is part of my book, The 2 Choices, is listed below.
  7. Write. Journal. Keep a notebook handy and start and/or end the day by journaling. Even if it’s just 3-4 sentences  This is one of the best forms of therapy and a great way to decompress and get in touch with what’s going on with you.
  8. Another one of my favorite meditation CDs/audios is Abraham-Hicks, “Getting into the Vortex.”  I mostly listen to this one at night, but find what works for you!
  9. Last, but not least—SLOW DOWN. Slow down and enjoy being with your family and friends. Don’t force yourself into the mobs of shoppers and last minute manic shopping. Choose to slow down and savor it. Do we really need more? How about being happy with what we have and truly appreciating it. Whatever your theme(s) are for the month, choose to honor it. Choose to make it just how you want to make it.

Feel free to print this list, and highlight the things that work for you. You can use this, obviously, any time of the year. Taking time to create a conscious, focused, clear plan for your days, your weeks, your months and so on—is the key to manifesting whatever you want in your life.

Manifesting success, health, money + happiness is just about being super conscious with our choices.

Enjoy, blessing and please leave a comment below and let me know what your theme is for the month!

My personal mantra for changing my vibration—fast.

The 2 Choices Mantra:

Right now, I have two choices. One will get me more in alignment with things I desire and the other will move me away from it. This ability to choose is a gift and my source of passion, connection and power.

Sacré-Coeur, Paris.

Hi Everyone!

I am back in the States after being in France for awhile and ready to dive into some serious (ok, not too serious) blogging, writing and creating. I am feeling super energized and ready to share. Ready to share how to live—how you really want to live. Ready to gently nudge (ok, shove) you in the direction of your passions, your dreams + your happy life.

Ready to show you how you can be, do and have anything you desire.

Here is a very quick video I shot from the Sacré-Coeur Basilica in Paris.

Your life is waiting. Your truth is waiting. Paris is waiting ( or wherever you desire to travel to!). Your health is waiting. Your success is waiting. Your love is waiting. Your happiness is waiting.

What are you waiting for? Choose you. Choose your sacred heart. Choose your amazing life. Choose to say “YES” to what you desire.

Say hello! Share on social media! Leave a comment ( only nice ones please). Let me know what you are up to, what you want and what you are CHOOSING to do to get it.

Merci! Bisous.

It’s not enough to just understand it . . .

It’s not enough to just understand it . . .

It’s not enough to just understand the concept of manifesting.

walk-the-talk

While it may be easy to understand—the hard part can be in the application of it.   It can be exciting when we first learn about manifesting, what it is and what is possible with it.

But then we think we are doing what we are supposed to—yet the things we want, aren’t  showing up.

Sound familiar?

When I first found out about manifesting, I remember feeling this renewed sense of hope.

I mean, how hard could it be, just feel better and think better thoughts and all the sudden I would have everything I wanted!  It didn’t really turn out that way. Not for me at least.

I dont think it turns out that way for a lot of people, at least at first. Why is that?

Here are some of the biggest reasons why manifesting might not be working out for us:

  • We are attached to the outcome. I know this seems counterintuitive, but it’s a big piece of the manifesting puzzle that is often left out. Attachment is not an expansive, allowing energy. Attachment has a clingy, needy, or negative energy associated with it. You can’t manifest something into your life with an energy of attachment. Rather, choose a joyful, excited, and knowing energy regarding your desire.
  • We are attached to the timing. We think if they feel super good and think super positive thoughts for one month, after having a primarily negative pattern of thinking and feeling—that the magic should happen anyway. Or, that it should happen right when they want it to happen. Again, that is an attached energy. Most of the times that I have worked really hard at manifesting something, it doesn’t come to me. When I let go of the attachment to the timing, it almost always shows up, in one form or another.
  • We aren’t really being honest about our true thoughts and feelings. This is such a subtle thing, but one of the biggest reasons people don’t experience results with manifesting. You have to get “saint- like” good at really understanding how you think and feel about your desires. This is where the conscious part of the manifesting puzzle comes in. In order to be good at getting what we want in life, be it material, spiritual or emotional, we have to be committed to knowing ourselves. That is the key. Know yourself, be honest about yourself, how you react, and how you really feel, down to every little belief you have.
  • We aren’t adding action to the equation.  As disappointing as it may be, most of us aren’t going to be able to manifest things out of thin air. Now, that’s not to say you can’t, it’s just not likely, given our years of programing and our belief systems. I do believe our biggest limitations are the thoughts we choose to think. So, if you truly believe you can manifesting things out of thin air, I do believe it’s possible for you.
  • We are confused about the concept of attracting things to us based on our vibration.  Like I said before, it’s not about being fake happy, or feeling good, but with there being guilt underneath that feeling. It takes a bit of pracitce and discernment to get really good at understanding how you truly feel or think about something. We might think we are really positive about a certain topic, but underneath that is a dominant pattern of negative thought. We might have just had it for so long, that we don’t really recognize the effect it is having on our energy.
  • We don’t really think it works! If you don’t think manifesting will work, then it wont work for you. But even if you don’t really feel like it will work, what is the harm in learning to get really good about the energy you put out into the world. The least you will get, is to feel really good and make the world a better place!
  • We aren’t spending enough time really being specific enough about our desire.  It’s super important to be really specific and detailed about what you want.  How will it feel? How will it look? Get detailed. Get into the dream, then let it go.
  • We are trying to force something to happen. It is not an authentic desire. Again, this goes back to an energy of forcing, not allowing. It is important to distinguish an authentic desire over one that might come from a place of “shoulda, woulda, coulda” energy.
  • We are not consistent enough with our energy. There are too many ups and downs rather than a consistent pattern of thoughts and feelings. Consistency is key.

Manifesting is really about  learning who we are. It’s about really taking a look at our results in life, what we are creating and then being brutally honest about it. But brutal, with love mixed in there!

If we keep creating a pattern, then it’s probably a good idea to take a look at how we might be attracting that situation into our lives. Blaming others  does not work.

Is it always easy? No!  But in my honest opinion, neither is the flip side.

I would rather go through the uncomfortable and awkward experience of finding out why I might be creating something negative in my life, and then transcend and heal that, then continuing to live in the shadows.

No one said the path to becoming the best version of ourselves is always easy, but it does feel good when those life goodies show up. Understanding the concept isn’t enough, if you want real changes—we’ve got to walk our talk.

If you want success, health, prosperity and growth in this life, you need to get dialed in with your manifesting skills—and use them.

Enjoy your day, you evening, your month + your life!

Please leave a comment and let me know how this is showing up for you in your life right now. Are you off, or on with manifesting?
